Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
An ideal reference, this market-leading text provides the most current and comprehensive presentation of occupational therapy concepts and practice. An occupation-based, client-centered and evidence-based approach to practice is described across a variety of community, education, and medical-based practice arenas. It answers the questions: "What will I do as an OT", "Who will I treat", and "Where will I practice?"

2 out of 5 stars I disagree   September 9, 2008

Having successfully completed a masters-level OT program, I would say this book was the least helpful in my studies. Sure, you'll have required readings about the history of OT and general information about frames of reference and treatment areas. Professors and such say it's the OT "bible," but I found it devoid of any useful information.

This is one of the most important book you will ever have as an occupational therapist. It's the only book you would need to get through the OTR(Occupational Therapy Registration) exam.
