works wonders on carpal tunnel problems June 24, 2008 I bought this as a necessary gift for someone who suffers with carpal tunnel. He is absolutely ectastic about it, especially at night when he is ready to go to bed. It keeps his wrist immobile and helps with the pain associated with this health issue, so that he is able to get needed rest.
Great wrist brace if you need one May 5, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to wear a wrist brace all the time, but especially when working on the computer. I broke my wrist 15 yrs ago and it has bothered me ever since with a carpal-tunnel-like situation and symptoms. This brace gives me relief, simple as that. I've tried different brands of braces, but these last the longest and are most comfortable. Whether or not it's right for you will depend where you need the support - I am not a doctor so don't ask me about that. I've also tried something similar with the "Ace" brand - but those started stinking after a short time (yes, stinking - a little sweat made them stink). This brand doesn't have that problem. Other brands also look more gay - little "shortie" things like you're wearing a Michael Jackson glove. Not the Futuro. They look cool and might even get you some sympathy from the chicks... "ooooh what did you do to your wrist...." So in closing - they don't stink, they're pretty comfortable, they last, they're chick-magnets, and they do the job (for me). Go for it.
helps night time pain March 22, 2008 Can't get a good nights sleep without it. Only drawback is that it might be a bit too warm to wear it in the summer months but so far so good.
very good product November 9, 2007 this stabilizer has improved my carpal tunnel problems. I only use it overnight, it is not an active use splint. I noticed an improvement after just a couple of nights of wearing the splint. It is comfortable and easy to adjust. I've used several Futuro products, all have performed as described, are durable, and easily cleaned.
Wrist stabilizer July 13, 2007 This wrist stabilizer does support the wrist very well and allows rest and healing to the area, even while you continue to use your arm and hand. I use this once or twice a years when my wrist is weak and painful. A week or two of "wrist rest" does the trick.
