Product Description General Application: Alleviates arch pain and discomfort.Medical Application: Alleviates conditions of plantar fasciitis (inflammation and tenderness of the plantar fascia). How it Works: Pro-Tec Athletics' Arch Support provides a slight lift to the arch helping to support the plantar fascia (a tough, fibrous band of tissue that runs along the sole of the foot with attachments to the heel bone and to the base of the toes). Targeted support reduces stress to the arch region and alleviates inflammation and tearing of the plantar fascia. Design Theory behind The Lift: The Arch Support achieves results similar to taping techniques by offering upward compression to the arch. This is achievable because the brace is made from stretchable material. Therefore, support is present not only when the foot is on the ground, but when the foot is elevated between steps. Soft material offers a comfortable pad for the arch when the foot does touch the ground. Now with compression pad for additional support!Sizing Chart: Shoe SizeMedium: Men's (7-10) & Women's (5-11)Large: Men's (10+) & Women's (11+)(Measurement based on shoe size)

Helps a lot. July 17, 2008 This product really helps. My feet stopped hurting so much. I recommend using it.
Best reusable arch support I have used July 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had plantar fasciatis for at least 10 years. As a distance runner (age 51) I want to keep running and have tried all the exercises, sleep socks, and arch supports. This support seems to be the most comfortable on the run, holds up over the miles (and washings) and keeps my arch from flaring up. Doing the toe curls in the morning before getting out of bed and using this arch support during runs or hiking should help to keep you pain free, it has worked well for me ever since I found these.
