I bought this for myself and my GF promptly stole it and took the piece over to her house. Quality is good, no rough edges. You can do damage with these implements if you're not careful. Best to use a facial steamer first, then all the little zits and blackheads pop out so much easier.

The problem with this blackhead extractor is the wires; they cut into one's skin when using any type of pressure (which is typically necessary for this 'chore').
On areas where gunk is ready to come out, just a slight pressure works fine, and even a 'dragging' or 'scooping' motion (as someone describing another one of these products descibed it) works equally well.
But who's to know where that'll be? Especially on a nose or chin loaded with filled pores---one exerts, the wire pushes then 'bites', frequently leaving semi-bloody trails. :(
Not a pretty picture (or pretty skin) afterward, or even the day after sometimes.
I call this thing "the evil one" for how it tears up my skin.
Best to find a gentler tool.

I didn't really find the FelPro Steel Wire Extractor to be of much help in removing blackheads and it seemed to cut down into the skin painfully because of the thin wire frame. I'd give it no more than three stars.
