Very Happy With This... September 13, 2008 I received this foot spa as a gift. I very much adore the little attachments and the bubble/spa. I too read all the reviews before asking for this, however, decided to try it too. I actually love it very much. Noticed the water does get cold after about a half hour, but I wasn't expecting salon style spa from it. Just something to pamper myself with once and a while.
I will be buying it as a gift for someone else.
Very Pleased June 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read all of the reviews before purchasing this product but decided to buy it anyway since I liked so many of the advertised features. I used it today for the first time, and am not sure what people are expecting, but I was very pleased. I do agree that the claims about keeping the water warm do not seem to be true, however, I filled the unit with hot water so it stayed warm until I was finished. I loved the handheld tool and its attachments, and found that they worked well on my tough calluses. I did not have any trouble with the bubbles and thought they worked very well and were quite relaxing. I added a foot bath to the water in the beginning but had trouble with it foaming, so turned off the unit and let my feet soak for 10 minutes and then changed the water to remove the soapy part. I purchased several of the Sally Hansen foot care products to go along with the spa and complete my home pedicure experience and was very pleased with those as well. I know I am the only one saying this (aside from one other reviewer) but I would recommend this product to anyone, assuming that you are not expecting a salon-quality machine.
Waste of money February 3, 2008 I chose this model because it was the only one available in the store (Bed, Bath and Beyond) for which I had a 20% off coupon. Well, is didn't heat water at all. The store promptly exchanged the unit. The second one didn't heat either and was much noisier than the first one. I plan to return it this coming weekend.
Don't waste your money January 8, 2008 I purchased this item from Wal-Mart. Not only did I receive it already broken, but the bubbles seem barely there. The heat function is a joke. I put scalding hot water in the foot bath, and the water was cool in less than 10 minutes. I'm sending this back tomorrow and requesting a refund.
DUD!!!! January 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Like the others have said, the bubbles are minimal and I've found don't come on at all sometimes and there is no way to turn them on. They just kick in when they feel like it apparently. The water gets very cold fast, I'd be better off just filling an empty kitty litter pan with hot water and sticking my feel in that. I also find the "easy drain feature" drains the water out under the attachments and there is physically no way to drain the water without getting all the attachments wet. Makes a lot of noise too and I thought it was supposed to be quiet. Buy a different one, I am!
