Happy July 9, 2008 I'm very happy with this product. Easy and light to carry. Provides great relax for your feet.
I can't get my feet out once I start this. March 2, 2008 Why go to a day spa when you can have this at home. Wonderfullly soothes and massages as well as conditions your feet right in the comfort of your own home.
HoMedics BL-150 BubbleSpa January 18, 2008 Would you believe I'm using it now? It makes my feet feel better and I enjoy using it regularly.
Not What I Thought! December 26, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My husband bought this for me as a Christmas present. We ended up returning it at the store today for several reasons.
This product is advertised to be "super quiet." We hardly found it to be quiet. Even though he was playing video games just a few feet away from me, I could still hear the foot spa well over the video games.
This product advertises that it "maintains heat." Just a little over ten minutes, the water was pretty cold and I no longer wanted to use the foot spa because my legs were getting cold as well as my feet. It is quite possible my particular foot spa was broken, but if that is their idea of maintaining heat, they really need to rethink the product.
One of the major disappointments with this product is that it can only be used for 30 minutes at a time to prevent overheating (the product wasn't even hot when I stopped using it). This is not a practical gift for someone who likes to soak their feet/body for long increments of time. When one is trying to relax, watching the clock takes away from relaxation.
While it seems a good idea to have the attachments (pumice stone, etc) attached in the middle of the device, it caused a lot more effort to use it than it should have. It requires a bit of pressure to activate, and my foot kept sliding.
Since I'm pregnant, my feet get sore really easily and I like harder massages. The water massage with this product was like having someone splash water against my feet; there was no massaging effect whatsoever.
I wouldn't recommend this product at all. If I ever do decide to get a similar product, I would consider putting a little more money into it and possibly trying another brand.
sad December 25, 2007 my fiancee bought this for me for Christmas. I just used it and I am very disappointed. The water didn't cover my feet, and I have narrow women's size 6 1/2 feet, so they are pretty small. The bubbles didn't do anything. The hot water I had put in got cold within 10 minutes, and the weird bumps at the bottom hurt my feet. I can still feel where they dug in, and my feet are not sensitive. Save your money.
