I urge you to do some research outside of the commercial arena before you waste your money on this. I was very curious about these products as I have heard so many good things about them. Friends have told me they feel better after doing these foot detox baths. I was at a symposium where a vendor was selling foot detox sessions for $45.00! I thought OMG, kinda expensive, yet many people told me it really worked but I just could not justify the expense without doing some research first. So I investigated online, and I'm certainly glad I did. There are factual reasons why the water turns putrid colors but it's not because you are detoxing your body. I will leave it up to you to do your own research. If you have more money than brains, go ahead and waste it on this silly thing. I believe the science, not the con artists that are getting rich on foolish people.

I encountered this in a Home Remodeling show and paid $40 to try it. I wanted to get one but they were asking for $1200!! I held back and decided to do some research online. Amazingly there are quite a few out there much lower in price. We bought this one, and it works jut the same as the one at the show. The parts are similar and the result - ie. that yukky water after each use - has the same coloring results. No reason to pay more.
