Product Description
The Swede-O ATOM is Ankle Technology for Optimized Motion. The Atom is a lightweight hinged ankle brace. It is extremely popular for use in sports such as volleyball. The Atom contains exclusive patented features that help prevent ankle injuries while retaining a comfortable fit. The patented footplate cleats help prevent uncomfortable shifting of the brace during play that may occur with competitive braces. The patented parabolic design is specifically designed to help prevent the 90% of ankle sprains that happen when you roll to the outside of your ankle (inversion sprains). Sized according to shoe size as follows: Medium for Mens shoe sizes 9-12, Womens 10-13. Small for Mens shoe sizes 5-8 , Womens 6 -9 . Large for Mens shoes 12 -16, Womens 13 1/2-16. Fits either right or left ankle.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent product   September 14, 2007
I've owned a pair of these since 2004, and they seem to do a great job. They're relatively comfortable and allow full motion. I play volleyball about four hours a week, and despite occasionally landing on the foot of another player, I have not sprained an ankle while wearing these. (A few years before I started wearing ankle braces for volleyball, I had three sprains in the course of a year and a half.)
