Bauerfeind ViscoSpot's viscoelastic heel cushions have a softer silicone blue "spot" anatomically placed for additional cushioning where heel pain originates. In fact, Bauerfeinds viscoelastic heel cushions have been clinically proven effective in the initial treatment of heel pain (plantar fasciitis) when used in conjunction with plantar fascia stretching exercises. ViscoSpot Bilateral Heel Cushions work well in my shoes. It helps relieve the pain in my heel. I suffer from plantars faciitis. The exercises to stretch the plantar pascia and achilles tendon were also helpful. I stand on the bottom stair and stretch the back of my leg several times a day. Would recommend them to a friend.

My husband purchased these heel cushions because they were recommended by his doctor for plantar fasciitis. I read reviews of this brand as well as reviews of other brands. This brand seemed to get the most positive feedback which helped him decide to go with it rather than another. Well, they don't work. He has been wearing them as directed by both the manufacturer as well as his doctor. They are not doing anything for his condition. We are both very disappointed in this product. He was really looking forward to getting some relief but he is not experiencing any.
