My husband wears the inserts daily in his various athletic and casual shoes. They must be serving the intended purpose since he had me reorder several more pairs. My previous order was October 2006 (7 mos. ago), therefore assume the inserts are also durable. They are (according to him) much more comfortable than those previously purchased at a 'major athletics mall store' and less expensive.
Tuli's Heavy Duty Heel Cups, Large (Over 175lbs) are also a good product for 'heel' runners or for heavy duty walkers.
