Recently, laundry stains which should be coming out are not, I'm assuming that the ball is "used" up. So, 7 months use at about 6 loads a week, approximately 182 washes, is a far cry from the 2000 washes advertised leaving the eco-friendly cost to performance ratio greatly off balance.

I usually use this ball without any laundry detergent at all, and it cleans the clothing quite well, even if it's dirty. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
