Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
These bands are an economical option for use with the Thumb/Finger-Guard Kits.Tyvek wristbands are water resistant and have a waterproof adhesive guaranteed to stay on in the water. Tyvek wristbands are perfect for short-term use (about 1-2 days) and must be cut off for removal.

3 out of 5 stars Only if your child cooperates   July 14, 2008
We used it with my 3 year old boy. By the time we started with it we alredy had reduced the thumb sucking to only nap and night time (lots of talking, lots..).The concept is great, however there is no way to fit it on his hand that he did'n eventually figure out how to get the thumb out. This happens because the material is very flexible and stretchy, so even with the wrist band well fit, the guard will stretch enough for the child to take the thumb out. In addition, he started to suck as his other thumb, so we needed the two guards every night, that means two bracelets, which meant another set of 60. It took us 5 weeks and a lot of talking and visits to his crib every night to make sure that the guards were still in place for the first 2-3 weeks. The real problem for him was to fall sleep. After that it usually worked fine, and the guard would help him remember not to suck if he wanted to do it during the night. Our other aggravating situation was daycare, since we were not able to put the guard on him for naps at daycare, so the process took longer.
Do not waste your money if you don't have your child to cooperate. I bought it long before we actually started on using it.
