1 out of 5 stars Didn't impress   July 5, 2008

Maybe my expectations were misguided after reading all the other reviews. I bought this product to help shine up my older formica kitchen countertops. After following the directions carefully I could tell no difference - there was no shine and no protective finish at all. I'll have to try something else. Thankfully this product was not too expensive and I will try to use it in the shower.

5 out of 5 stars Want Shine? Use Gel Gloss!   October 1, 2007

Many years ago, I use to use a product called Glass Wax. I went online to find it. This is the replacement cleaner that kept coming up in my search. This product can shine your mirrors without any streaking. I use it on my stove. It cuts right through the grime. You can also use it on your countertops, refrigerator, and on any glass. Do NOT use a lot on it. Just a little squirt. This product also comes in liquid form. Pouring it out of the can is awkward. I prefer the spray.

Have a fiberglass bathtub which needs "special" cleaning because bleaches and abrasives can damage the finish so I purchased this item to use after I thoroughly cleaned the tub. It is applied as a protective cover after cleaning to "coat" the surface and keep the soap scum from biulding up between cleanings (kindof like car wax after you wash your car). I find, however, that in one use alot of the can is used up and unless the tub is TOTALLY dry (not even cold or damp) it has no real effect at all. The can of liguid gel gloss better serves my needs as it is applied with a clean cloth and buffed off afterwards. It also lasts alot longer.

This is the perfect product for a marble (or psuedo marble) shower enclosure. I assume it would work on kitchen marble surfaces also. It cleans (soapy scum) and creates a beautiful shine. Great stuff!

This stuff saved my sink!We have an Americast sink. We were looking at having to replace my granite counters because my stained sink had an odd shape but this product made my sink look better than new in a matter of minutes! We were so psyched! I love products that actually do what they say they'll do.
