Wear out Quickly June 25, 2010 paul These are definitely softer than the insoles that came with my shoes. However, they wore out in just a few months. These are not one size fits all
but you have to use scissors to cut the size out that fits your shoes. So the edges that result are prone to getting damaged due to walking.
Mine lasted maybe 4 month.
Love these! June 25, 2010 Rebecca Jones (Colo Springs, Colorado, United States) I'm going to have to agree with another reviewer, I think people are installing these wrong. They go pretty side down. I have these in all of my shoes, I just can't have it any other way any more. New shoes (before they have these put in) feel entirely too hard for my taste. The only time I've had any slipping issues was in a pair of Vans (which were much to wide for the insert anyway), and that was very rarely. Just take your time, completely remove the shoe laces, and make sure you cut them to size perfectly. They are a bit of a pain to get in when they are cut properly.
Besides that, they are nice and squishy, and stay that way under heavy use. I got my first one three years ago, its since been switched to another pair of shoes, and it still feels great. Its like walking on padding everywhere you go. They definitely make any closed-toe shoe loads more comfortable.
Not sure yet... April 5, 2010 Nick 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These insoles I purchase seem to be OK...but I'm not really sure.
They do not squeak with me, like other users say they do. They fit my black work shoes perfectly but I had to cut them down to size 12 for my size 13 tennis shoe.
I'm not sure if they are helping me at all. They don't make anything worse. They do; however, make my feet sweat way more than normal...normally in a tennis shoe, my feet do not sweat. They do with the insoles.
They also seem to remove the arch in my shoe, and actually push up in my foot where the arch should be. This is just uncomfortable, not painful.
I'd probably buy a Dr. Scholl's product again, but not this type...maybe I'd buy the "Sport" type.

Nice packaging, nice to look at, but offered just a minor increase in comfort, pay more and get a thicker insert.
Tighten up January 27, 2010 Terry Royse (Mt. Sterling, Ky. USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Shoes a little loose? These are great for tightening up loose shoes. About the equivalent of 1/2 size. What I used them for.
