Not too effective for eczema, but still a decent product June 2, 2008
I started using Eucerin intensive repair creme a few weeks ago hoping it would relieve some of the itchiness caused by my eczema (I have a fairly mild case of eczema). While this product certainly does a good job at keeping the skin moist and does not have sticky residue, I can't say that it is particularly great at stopping itch, inflammation or healing wounds. If you need a creme that does those things I recommend trying Aveeno Eczema Care Cream.
I have to say I was a little disappointed since I read that Urea is supposed to work well on eczema. Though, this cream only has 10% Urea (most only have 5%) which probably isn't enough to do the job. I've been told 20% is what you need, however it probably requires a prescription.
I also don't recommend using this product on the face. I believe that it is also available as a "lotion" which apparently doesn't clog pores and is probably more appropriate for facial use. Anyway, the bottom line is that it's pretty good compared to other dry skin creams but I didn't find it works against my eczema at all.

GREAT CREAM. I have severe dryness and this product took care of that problem for me.

I bought this product for the red bumps on the back of my arms. I also bought the Eucerin Intensive Repair Lotion. I applied the creme on one arm and the lotion on the other. Both products were effective at improving the texture of my skin, although not the redness. (Too bad) This product (the creme) was slightly better at moistuizing, althought it has a faint smell similar to manure!
After using both products for about 2 weeks, both of my arms seemed smoother, but not noticably different from each other. I will continue to buy the Eucerin Intensive Repair Lotion, instead of this product, because it is easier to apply and truly is unscented!

Euceerin's Dry Skin Therapy Creme works for my dry skin on the bottom of my feet. Longs and Walgreen used to carry this product but no longer. So I rely on purchasing from amazon.com in large supply to last a few months. Am very satisfied with results.

This product is awesome, my hands feel so smooth after using it just once! It is totally not greasy and just leaves your hands feeling super smooth. All you need is a tiny drop, too! It may seem like a small amount for the price, but it is well worth it!
