5 out of 5 stars Terrific lotion   March 25, 2008

I have always had dry skin and some years ago my then dermatologist recommended Lubriderm but it had a greasy feel and didn't seem to last very long. My current dermatologist recommended Cetaphil which dries immediately and holds up in showers and even when I sweat...good stuff...more expensive but worth it.

Keeps skin moist without being greasy. Great under makeup. Highly recommended by dermatologists.

5 out of 5 stars Creates Young Looking Skin   September 25, 2007

This is recommended by every dermatologist I've ever seen. I use it for eczema (which I no longer have due to this product). I have very young looking skin and I feel it is due to Cetaphil lotion. The key is keeping it well-moisturized. My skin type is dry and this does the trick. It is also good for hemorrhoids or any type of skin irritation on any area of the body.

5 out of 5 stars Cetaphil moisturizing lotion   February 11, 2007

My dermatologist told me to us Cetaphil twice daily for my dry skin. The local price for it has been steadily increasing. I tried a house brand that claimed to be comparable for a lower price. The texture of the house brand lotion was unpleasant when compared to Cetaphil. Other national brands I have tried either had an undesireable odor, unpleasant texture and/or just did not seem to work. It was great to find that Amazon carrys Cetaphil at about the same low price as house brands.

4 out of 5 stars Only because the derm recommended it!   November 20, 2006

This lotion is greasy! And does not absorb into the skin, but rather washes off. If I hadn't already bought 2 bottles of it here, I wouldn't buy it! It's what most derms recommend but I'm not convinced.
