Tingly Foot Treat May 26, 2008 Tingly toes and soft pampered feet are the result of using this pepperminty sloughing lotion. It will remove dry skin, but you may also want to use a foot file first on your heels. This smoothes and polishes and leaves a protective layer of cream that also penetrates deep into your skin.
Unlike many heavy creams which only seem to manage to keep your feet comfy for a few minutes, this cream tingles and refreshes for much longer. This cream will work year round for tired feet after work or anytime you are giving yourself a pedicure.
The secret ingredients in this cream include the words Aloe and Paraffin. Peppermint oil provides the tingle and the paraffin seems to provide the protective layer that locks in the moisture. Also works very well for your hands, elbows and knees to smooth skin and leave a protective barrier to save your skin from the elements.
If you are buying spa gifts for friends, put this in the basket! Gena's Pedi Care with Peppermint Oil is sure to get rave reviews. I love how refreshed my feet feel and my husband thinks this is as good as the Avon cream he used as a child.
Sloughing cream works slightly differently than exfoliating lotions because it doesn't contain granules and is smooth and creamy until it dries and naturally peels off dead skin cells. Very convenient and can be used before jumping in the shower. Best when used on dry skin and works even better when you use less instead of more. Just a little cream goes a long way and makes you feel refreshed. Use this before you go out for the evening to a party and your toes will feel tingly all night.
