The Healing Gems Microdermabrasion System is a home spa appliance that safely and effectively buffs away dead skin cells, and cleanses the pores to reveal clean, fresh, radiant skin. Only Artemis Woman combines home microdermabrasion with the power of natural Gem Therapy and Healing Gems Facial Scrub. Each gemstone is ground to a silky soft powder and infused with a custom blend of pure aromatherapy essential oils to enhance the properties of each gemstone. Exfoliation and Pore Cleansing Simply apply the gemstone scrub to either the sponge attachment (normal skin) or brush (sensitive skin) and exfoliate your cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose (you can even try elbows and feet!) 1-3 minutes, 1-2 times a week for optimal results. The Healing Gems Microdermabrasion System also comes with a pore cleansing option to loosen, lift, and remove impurities from the pores for more thorough cleansing.  i cant believe i found it finally

this is a review after using this product for an entire month every week...i have a normal to dry skin (especially in the T zone) n this cold weather was taking its toll on my face...flaky skin near nose (u know how it can be)i started using this and since that week my face has started feeling so much more softer and its easier to do ur own facial too..i am going to order one more for my mom ...one thing though, it needs 2 AA batteries and one set of them works in this for half an hour. so be sure to have some batteries on hand when u start with ur dermabrasion (just a fancy term for scrubbing n cleaning ur face) but very effective and a must have for all ladies with dry/flaky skin....the scrub they provide is absolutely gorg and makes u glow the first time u use it n subsequently too

This is a glorified face scrubber. Not that I hated it, just that I like to call things like they are.
When I think I need a good scrub, I turn to my Artemis set.
My complaint is that when on and scrubbing, the head tends to fling the facial scrub back and into my eyes.
I love the scent of the facial scrub though. It's very relaxing.
All in all, it's an alright buy for the money.

I have had a very good experience with this system. I had some stubborn dry spots on my cheek bones that looked and felt 95% better after the first use of the brush. The next day my face still felt smooth and clean and I have felt great improvements ever since. I love how it feels and the gem cleanser that comes with it is very nice. It smells and feels great, and they give you enough to last quite a while. The pore cleansing is a different experience with its suction action, but it's neat and seems to work very well. I have much less blackheads on my nose than before, and that's a huge accomplishment for me, having tried everything else to get rid of them. The only complaint I have is the included direction booklet. It could be a lot more detailed.
A very good value for the money. I like that they offer replacement brushes and sponges for a reasonable price too. I also like that you don't have to use special brush heads to use the unit, you can use whatever cleanser you want to use with the included brush and sponge.
All in all I would (and have) recommend this system to friends.

This facial scrubber and attachments work pretty well. It would be nice if it had a little bit more power, if you press too hard it may bog down but otherwise works pretty well. The suction cups also work good to cleanse your skin until your face gets too dry. You can tell the difference after the first use. Some day maybe someone will make one that you can use in the shower too, because it can be a little messy using the scrubbing brush when spinning. I had the rechargeable Homedics that worked pretty much the same way until the charger quit as apparently has done with many other customers. I wished someone would make one that was battery operated and this unit suffices for that purpose. As a matter of fact, some of the extra pads from my Homedic works with this unit also. It would have been nice if it were supplied with a few extra facial pads, a storage unit and more facial products to start out with like the Homedics did. All in all this device works pretty well for the money.

Good Product - the pressure could be a little stronger with the sponge head. It has a nice scent, and when the crystals had leaked upon arrival I had excellent customer service from the company to replace it.
