Great Milk Cleanser June 2, 2008 I always use a Milk Cleanser not soap or Foaming cleanser.. I wa using Vichy Milk Cleanser.. with i liked alot.. but I tried this and it DOES unclog the pores..Smells like lemons. skin is soft not tight..
Wonderful cleanser for combo, middle aged skin May 4, 2008 I'd been using Neutrogena "fresh foaming cleanser" for years but as my skin gets older, it's too drying. Yet I still break out sometimes, get oily now and then, and can't tolerate anything very rich on my face. (So unfair--wrinkles AND zits!) Bought this at Sephora after telling my tale of woe to the skin care specialist and he recommended this.
It doesn't suds at all, feels yummy and creamy going on, and rinses completely, leaving my skin in just the right balance, not oily and not dry. It's very cleansing, even gets rid of the smudge of mascara under my eyes that I can never quite get rid of with makeup remover. I love its grapefruit peel fragrance. True to its name, it has things in it that gently exfoliate and clarify my skin. It can also be used as a 5-minute mask, according to the bottle, but I haven't actually tried that yet.
A good friend of mine says my skin actually looks better since I've been using it. I love this stuff and will continue to use it indefinitely.
STAR NOTE: The product itself gets five stars in my book, but I give it overall four because of the packaging. It comes in a flip-cap bottle with a large-ish opening, and the product comes out kind of fast (easy to waste until you get used to it). A pump would probably be better for the consistency of this.
