Better than most for relieving the burning and tingling.
Hard to wash off hands though and if you touch your face or eyes can still get a burning/tingling sensation even if you have washed hands quite well.
So if you can remember to keep hands off face or maybe apply with cotton pad; works for temporary relief.
 Generic brands work just as well October 13, 2008
I have painful peripheral neuropathy in my feet and legs. This product works fairly well when used as directed. It doesn't work any better than an equivalent generic for about 1/2 the price. The cotton pads are useless; they shredded after using on one foot.
WARNING, wash your hands immediately at least two times with lots of soap and warm water (including scrubbing under fingernails). I found out the hard way when I rubbed my nose. Using disposable gloves is an option.
RELIEF! August 18, 2008
I have neuropathy in my feet. The pain, burn, tingling and numbness is extremely bad. I have tried electrical stimulation, with some relief, but nothing compared to the relief that I have gotten with the Zostrix Cream. I found it at local drugstore, for much more than amazon is selling it for. I love it! I put it on about 3-4 times a day. There is still some pain, but NOTHING compared to before. Thank you to the makers of Zostrix!
