Exceeds my expectations October 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I did quite a bit of research before I upgraded from a cheapo drugstore pair of tweezers. I looked at Tweezerman brand tweezers and figured if I'm paying top dollar I might as well go for the best (which I concluded was Rubis). I was surprised at how eagerly I was anticipating the arrival of these tweezers in the mail.
Once they arrived and I put them to the test, I found that this pair of tweezers is absolutely, without a doubt, the most capable pair of tweezers I've ever used. It pulls out every hair on the first try. I'm not exaggerating. I didn't know tweezers actually could work this well. I really enjoy using them.
I'm going to purchase more of these to give as gifts.
I was skeptical considering the high price tag, but they really do work perfectly. And the included small cap for the tip is nice as it keeps them from getting banged up. I don't have any complaints.
A lot of money and not that great August 11, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I thought I was investing in a really great set of tweezers when I bought these. Although they look great and are made of quality material, they just don't grip that great. My first pair (which I bought for less than $10 at the grocery store) would grab single hairs that were barely visable. I find that these require a small bit of growth before they will grab on. So they're not that great for tweazing eyebrows, but they've worked fine for splinters and small tasks. I should have just gone to the local beauty supplier and tried some out. Live and learn.

Outstandingly precise tweezers February 5, 2005 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I've tried many different brands and types of tweezers, including Tweezerman, but I've had excellent luck with Rubis and can't imagine purchasing any other brand now. These are extremely sharp and fine tipped with a slant, which means you can grab hold of even the finest of hairs with ease and pluck virtually painfree. Just be careful you don't drop them; the tips are so well honed that the slighest impact can bend/tweak them to the point of uselessness.
