Nice item! December 30, 2005 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This all-in-one kit is ideal for people who have calloused soles and heels.
The battery-powered exfoliator has three interchangeable discs with different textures. The discs rotate, much like an electric sander. However, because it is powered by only two AA batteries (not included in the kit), too much pressure causes the disc to stop spinning. This may not be a flaw in its design, but actually a safety feature. The unit is very light and fits comfortably in your hand. It is also covered by a one-year warranty.
The foot cream is very nice. Its consistency is like that of Lubriderm. It's called an "overnight" cream, but it is absorbed easily and leaves no greasy residue.
Other items include the standard toenail clipper (it's called "deluxe" by the manufacturer because it comes in a holder), two foam rubber toe separators, a small nail buffing brush, and a one- or two-application bag of salts for a foot bath.
Unique about this ensemble is the clear plastic case that the individual items are to be stored in. It features a small lock and key system to keep young children out of it.
Nice idea, but not worth the $$ December 20, 2005 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
Yes, the products are nice and work well, but buy them in a different bundle or seperately in full size and skip this "kit." The callous remover is worth about a dime. As soon as you apply any pressure it bogs the motor down. What do you expect when it runs on a C-cell battery? The device is best left as a lint remover and kept away from your feet. The pumice stone is just your typical stone. The clear plastic box is a neat idea, it's just too small to do anything with.
