What a relief !! November 16, 2008
I owned one of these, manufactured by GE, in the late 60's and early 70's. I have always regretting giving it away when hairstyles changed.
I've been looking for this style of dryer for over a year, and purchased this particular product after seeing the reviews posted on amazon.com.
This does precisely what it is supposed to do, does it in a timely manner, and I have nothing bad to say about the dryer.

This bonnet dryer meets every element of its product description - it dries our daughter's hair with reasonable comfort - when reading or working on homework, she accommodates for the height differential by sitting on a pillow or a higher chair - when she is not working on anything, her head reaches under the dryer just fine (comparable to hood dryers at the salons). We are very pleased with this product and its ease in set-up/take-down.

i had wanted a bonnet type hair dryer and found one at Amazon. It is nice but doesn't dry the hair as good on one side of my head. I will try to sit a different way and see if this is better. I do like having several choices of heat. thank you

Hand held dryers became a problem to hold, and salon dryers were often uncomfortable and noisy. This dryer is a perfect combination of good air flow, low noise, and is fully adjustable for comfortable use. Very happy with this choice.

i used to go to the salon every two weeks and pay 20 dollars every time. it adds up. so i got the hair dryer cus of the good reviews that i saw. it works great. it dryes my entire head, its hot but not to hot. it has 4 diffrent setting. and i have a wole lot of thick very curly hair. i used to have a conair dryer that would not dry my hair to save its life. i would recommend this dryer to anyone.
