Product Description SKU NUMBER: 791228The Mininimum EXP date on product:1year.TITLE DESCRIPTION: Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Wart Remover - 40226Sch -12 Ea.MANUFACTURER: SCHERING-PLOUGH HEALTHCARE.PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Removes Warts Fast as Few as 1 Treatment.Freeze AwayCommon & Plantar War RemoverThis easy-to-use kit has everything you need to quickly and effectively remove common and plantar warts. Using the same treatment method that doctors use on their patients, Freeze Away Wart Remover freezes the wart immediately, causing the treated wart to fall off in as few as 10 days. By the time the wart falls off, healthy new skin will have formed underneath.Read the complete information booklet inside the box before use and keep for future reference. Use Freeze Away Wart Remover only if you are sure the skin condition is a common wart or plantar wart. If you treat a skin condition as a wart with Freeze Away and it is not a wart, you delay proper treatment. This delay may lead to more serious skin condition or disease. For removing common warts: common warts are skin-colored, usually appear on the hands and feet and are recognized by the rough "cauliflower-like" appearance of the surface. They are harmless growths that consist of a center of inner skin (or connective) tissue with blood vessels covered with layers of outer skin (or epidermis) tissue. For removing plantar warts from the bottom of the foot: plantar warts are recognized by their location only on the bottom of the foot, their tenderness, and the interruption of the footprint pattern. Plantar warts grown inwards and are often flat due to the pressure caused by walking. They are often callused and painful.INGREDIENTS:Dimethyl Ether, Propane (Not harmful to the environment).CAUTION:Highly Flammable. Contents under pressure. Do not pierce or burn pressurized can, even after use.

Didnt work for me November 9, 2008 I used it once. Skin became red in the area of application, then purple. Thouht it might work but they grew up again. I had to go to the specialist. It wasn't that painful.
This stuff is a joke! November 5, 2008 Entirely too much money for something that absolutely does not work. Save yourself the time and expense for now and have your MD apply liquid nitrogen to the wart during your next routine visit. The majority of clinics keep a supply of liquid nitrogen available for this purpose. They pour a little into a cup, soak a Q-tip, apply it to your wart and, in about a week, the dead wart/skin falls off. Period.
Did absolutely nothing on hand or foot :( October 30, 2008 I was very careful to follow the directions completely. This stuff did nothing at all. It's simple enough to use and only slightly painful, but such a huge waste of money. Plus, once you use it you can't treat with something else while you wait for the freeze to (not) work.
We had one child with a hand wart and it did discolor it, but after several treatments we switched to a bottle treatment with applicator brush. That did the trick.
My other son has come up with a wart on his foot recently and we tried freeze off on it. It didn't do a thing.
A total waste of time and money.
Don't waste your money!!! August 22, 2008 We tried this product on my 5 year old who has a rather large (1 cm) wart on the heel of her foot. She was very brave in letting us scrape the dead skin off the wart (a very important step)--a few times until it bleed. We always held the freeze-away tip for at least 40 seconds and then also went around the edges of the wart w/the applicator for a bit (a physician gave us this tip). After 9 treatments the wart is only minimally smaller. We should have just went to the dr. to begin with! We have had success in the past using Compound W and duct tape but nothing would stick to my daughter's foot at the location of the wart. So, unless your wart in tiny, save your money!
desperate measures June 9, 2008 This product works very well with small warts, but not too well with larger warts. For larger warts, you should use Freeze away along with Dr Scholl's medicated pads, which will help to pull the wart out. Otherwise you may be just wasting your time and money. If you are like me (on your feet all day) than you will prefer using the pads. They will keep the wart from going deeper and remove them faster than freezing alone.
This is a great product, but it's overpriced and should include better instructions, a pedicure file and medicated pads. If you use this product, you should use a pumice stone or pedicure file to remove the layer of skin that guards the wart, otherwise you will be wasting your time.
Dr Scholl's should do away with the expensive plastic box. I would much rather have more applicators than a fancy box, and there should be more applicators as the aerosol can has more liquid than can possibly be used.
