Inconsistant quality August 5, 2008 I have purchased 4 pair of mootsie tootsie mallory loafers and I do like them but the quality seems to be inconsistant. The black ones nearly a year ago and they are still good. Then the pewter, about 9 months ago and the sole has come unglued on one shoe. Then about 6 months ago, I ordered navy and brown (they are so comfortable) and I wore each pair twice and the stitching came lose in the left shoe on both pairs. I had to take them to a shoe repair to be restitched. All 4 pairs came from Bealls. Not sure what the problem is.
Versatile & comforable July 18, 2008 These shoes look good with jeans, khakis, or chinos - almost anything. The gold-tipped tassels add a nice flair. And, the wide width is true-to-size, so they are comfy!
Mootsies Tootsies Mallory Navy June 3, 2008 Poor craftsmanship. Lacing came undone, soles started to spilt. The vendor was very helpful and credited purchase amount to my Amazon account.
Really comfortable loafer April 6, 2008 I debated whether to purchase this shoe as I normally wear more costly shoes. However, they were a style I wanted but could not find elsewhere. I was really surprised. They are a good looking shoe and are extremely comfortable. What a bargain!
poor January 20, 2008 sole near toe has already pulled apart, leather stich is broken. I have never had a Mootsies Shoe and probably will never buy this name brand again. I have always worn Naturalizer shoes. They last for 5-6 yrs. Really disappointed in this product. Fast delivery, however.
